Hotpoint washer dryer
My friend just moved in a new flat and she is not sure how to use the washer dryer. It takes over 2 hrs for a wash. She assumes it is a washer dryer but the clothes came out still damp. Thanks

Which programme is she using? There's a button for a faster wash, but more energy efficient washers can be slower to wash.

Suggest you do an image search and then download the manual.
Edit : My guess it's this

how much is she putting in it? If you put a full load into wash you normally have to split it to dry it. What is the model number?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
What makes your friend think it's a washer dryer? If there's a model number somewhere (often on a plate around the door rim) then Google it/post it here to check.
2-2.5 hours would be about right for a "standard" 30/40C wash.

the 8+6 on the label. Tends to mean an 8 kg wash capacity 6 kg dry cap capacity.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
