Ryanair check in question
I know you now have to use the App and no paper boarding passes but I do have an odd question.
2 people are travelling together and one has a complete breakdown if he has to answer a call on a smart phone let alone use an App. He is useless and a complete technophobe.
Can the other person have both boarding passes on their phone or is it imperative that both passengers use a separate phone to scan the boarding passes?

I'm not aware of any need to use multiple devices, i.e. multiple passes on one device should be OK, but can't find anything on the Ryanair site that definitively confirms this, although they do say that provided a passenger has checked in online in advance then they can be issued with a boarding pass at the airport.

Thank you for the reply. They will check in online before they leave but I was just concerned as when I made the booking it did flash up that they must show the boarding pass on the App.
I will probably speak to Ryanair to confirm before they go as its not till September, he has time to be trained if need be!

One person can have both passes. They just scan the other person in first

This. Did this myself a few months back, its no issue.

They could have the pass on their phone and you could access it for them then all they have to do is show it
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

If he really doesn't want to use a device, check in at home and get a free paper copy at the ryanair desk at the airport

Would they be OK showing a photo? I often take a screen grab and save it into photos.

As already stated, multiple ones on one phone is fine. People are suggesting needless "solutions" here.

It's not entirely needless. When you go through the barriers and scan your boarding pass, you will have to pass the phone back across the barrier to the other person to be able to scan the second pass. If you don't mind that faff, then both passes on one phone is fine.
It does help to have both passes on two phones in case of loss of phone or running out of battery. I'd rather have belt and braces, particularly when dealing with Ryanair.

Pass the phone back? Why?
Scan one QR code/barcode, the other person walks through. You then scan the other and walk through yourself. No passing back of phones needed.
People do like to over complicate things in here....
