And the £60 they have so far bunged me for overcharging me around 20p per bill makes them even cheaper.

    Lucky you!

I've only been overcharged on one bill, about 12p. But I've been undercharged on 2 other bills, so I can't get too exercised about it.

Fuse sound a bit like Symbio, who were terribly cheap. As in absolutely terrible but extremely cheap... 😀

I hope they don't follow in their footsteps by going bust.

    Me too!

I was supplied by Symbio back in the day. But I got out before they went bust. The writing was clearly on the wall for all to see.

I can assure you that there is no similarity between Fuse and Symbio, except they are/were both new suppliers and both cheap, but Fuse are not that ridiculously cheap that they would be losing money. Fuse was actually founded by 2 former Revolut executives.

I was also supplied by Zog energy when they started. They were cheap too. They offered gas only tariffs too. In fact they never got around to offering electric, although they gained a licence to do so. That's about where the similarity to Zog ends too. Unfortunately I never saw Zog going bust until it was too late. To be honest, I don't think Zog did either. They didn't actually go bust, they just could not afford to continue to supply after being stitched up by another company whose shareholders preferred to take the money and run.

You can educate yourself more about the history and aims of Fuse Energy here:

Fuse Energy hits £3.75bn valuation in just third year

They are already reporting a cash flow positive position.

Yes, I was also with Zog and they were excellent. Shame they presumably all lost their jobs through no fault of their own.

I created a spreadsheet and input the meter readings I submit to my supplier. My calculations and supplier calculations are very similar, but not exact. I assume due to rounding and other factors. Close enough for me.
