Morning again, its a dry start here, cold though.
I'm posting on my lap top, tablet still won't behave itself, so I thought this was easier.
No particular plans for today, dgd has overnighted here but she won't surface for hours yet - wish I could sleep like that!
Hope everyone has as good a day as they can, take care folks.

Shepherds pie for dinner and nothing else planned
Have a good day all xx

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. Will the new month be any better than the last I wonder. Today we have the usual greyness and drizzle forecast, but it does feel marginally milder. Yesterday it felt bitter.
After a couple of busy busy days I have decided today I am only doing the bare essentials. The haircut yesterday went well, no scalping this time! She was still on a high from her holiday on a remote and very quiet Caribbean island (I've already forgotten the name!) and I had to look at hundreds of photos but it did look absolutely wonderful. They have already booked again for next year!
I almost stuck to my list at Sainsbobs, still almost nothing for the freezer though I have to confess to being tempted by some smoked haddock! But in my defence it was on a Nectar price offer.
Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better, sad or lonely. And commiserations on the big car repair bills. DS was in the same boat yesterday, having just paid £1,200 out on his car. Take care all, be safe x

Morning all and thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons x
I had a rubbish night with several ‘duvet off duvet on’ moments. I have yoga shortly so hoping it will set me up for a good day. Taking mum shopping straight after. The list is long this week as several things are low/have run out but luckily it’s Aldi week!Dinner will be roast gammon and I’ll do a cauliflower cheese for the family. I’ll avoid that and just have green veg.
We spent some time tidying the garden yesterday and swapping pots around as my aunt and uncle are visiting next weekend. We filled the two garden waste bins as so much tree debris on the lawn and driveway. They get picked up on Thursday.
Have a good day everyoneCoxy

Morning all
Well yesterday turned out to be a day of reorganising all my fabric, a sore back meant that standing up jobs were best. Not sure it’s perfect yet but will do for now - need some labels now.
A trip to look at some chest freezers this morning, there are so few places you can actually view large appliances now - I contacted Currys online to try and find out which ones they have to view - no way of finding out and no way of getting a phone number for the local store to ask them! What a rubbish system. So we’ll have to go see!
It’s National Yorkshire Pudding day so guess what’s for dinner?Hope everyone has a restful Sunday

Good morning
Raining again….. I'll be making a steak and mushroom pie later, it'll do us for today and tomorrow. Other than that nothing else planned. I need to start making a shopping list as we're running out of quite a few staples. Yesterday 3 jars got finished and put in the recycling. Also the fridge is looking pretty empty, I can't say the same about the freezer, although a shuffle around today will see what space we've got. I'm tempted to try Farmfoods, does anyone else go there?
Enough waffling, have a good day all, take care.

REMMIE I used to pop in our FarmFoods now and then when it was near the bus station but it's since moved into larger (and much more organised!) premises, no longer near the bus station sadly so don't go in often these days, unless I get a lift.. I found the best bargains on the tinned and packet shelves and occasionally in the fridges as they often sold stuff nearing the sell by date. I remember getting bargains on tinned tuna especially. The only frozen items I bought regularly were the bags of frozen berries as I found them much better than in the sm's. I was never impressed with their fish.

Thanks TA, I've seen videos on utube and wondered what their like. There's one close to the town where I'm doing my top up shop, I'll have a look, if I can get parked.

Morning all. Another dull day here, although yesterday was better and we got out for a short walk.
Currently watching the Australian Open final; I support whoever is playing against Djokovic. This time it's Carlos Alcaraz.
A bit later I'll pop out as we need veg and milk. Made a coconut sponge yesterday then topped it with jam and more coconut, so we had that for pudding last night. Need to do a bit of ironing as well then I think I've caught up with everything.
Happy Sunday all.
