Parking fine from 2023

hi new to this but getting really fed up with this issue.
I’ll bullet point so as not to bore people but can provide more info if needed.
1st Alleged parking contravention 03/10/2023 no ticket, letter about 23 days later from smart parking. 3 hours free parking, I was 9 mins over as was in Q to leave.
2nd one as above 14 days later, again didn’t receive letter until over 20 days passed alleged contravention. My car was being fixed at Halfords on the car park site & I was about 4 mins over.

I appealed both tickets stating my disability, also it was dark & no clear signs or ways to pay the 10p.

No offer to go to independent tribunal.

Lots of letters every month for about 12 months. They involved lots of companies to make me now pay a debt on 2x £170.

I then didn’t hear anything for months after getting monthly letters, so discarded all the letters involved. Then about December 2025 I received a letter from DCB legal threatening about only the 1st ticket.

I’ve replied to them telling them, they’re about the 6th different company that smart parking have employed about this ticket. I said I’m not paying, take me to court, and explained to them-

The original letter was outside the 14 days to tell me I’d allegedly committed a contravention.

I have a registered disability so I am at a disadvantage to find the way to pay the 10p parking in the dark & rain.

I was within the grace period as was queuing to leave, they can only see two cars from where their camera is positioned

Free then 10p to £170 is unreasonable cost.

I appealed, which they said failed but was not offered to go to an independent adjudicator.

I now am close to their 30 day warning.

What is my best course of action please?-as I have no paperwork to support what I wrote above.

That would have had legs if you hadn't appealed and admitted to driving.

Sadly, you binned that 100% win.

But wait for the Claim Form.
