a CIFAS marker doesn’t affect your “Credit Score” cifas is a central fraud database, not a credit worthiness database. There is a difference. You could be very wealthy and very capable of paying back debt with no concerns at all which would give you a good “credit score”, but if you’ve committed fraud, you’ll be declined for fraud checks. That’s why, when you apply for credit, you’ll be told that the lender will check credit AND fraud databases. If one or both come back low, you’ll be declined most likely. Checking clear score for your fraud score is like checking your fridge looking for something that is in the freezer.

also, falsifying bank statement is fraud. It’s application fraud so will definitely stop lenders offering you credit.
