I have a cifas on the official website
I have about 3/4 all saying I falsified bank statements and they referred it to Dfc and inspection.
I need a mortgage but it seems like they are all on cifas to check.
I was wondering why I kept getting declined and they wouldn't say just 'speak to your broker'. I kept going around in circles as it doesn't show on check my file but the official cifas website when you request a dsar.
Ive there any specialist brokers out there that'll place it with a lender who is not on cifas?
and once the documents out your hands can 3rd parties check your balance?
it doesn't mention anything about fraud just'false documents' or a 'false statement'

Normally there is no smoke without fire, so what did you do?
You cannot have 3/4, how many do you have and are they from different institutions?
Falsified documents or statement indicate a degree of fraudulent behaviour and the markers will almost certainly prevent you getting credit.
Do not be surprised if your accounts with markers are closed in the near future.1 -
As stated, some background as to what led to the CIFAS markers should be useful. There will not be a broker that side steps these checks so you need to address the issue.

You can see the members of cifas at
Id be surprised if there are mortgage lenders who arent members of CIFAS

CIFAS markers don’t usually show on standard credit reports, so it’s common for people to only discover them via a DSAR.
There isn’t a lender or broker that can ignore CIFAS – they’ll all see it – so the only real route forward is understanding exactly which organisation placed the marker, which category it is, and whether it can be challenged if it’s incorrect.
Until that’s resolved, mortgage options will be extremely limited regardless of broker.

I’ll move this to the mortgage board.

I think all lenders use CIFAS.
But I think the bigger question is, did you do what you are being accused of?
If you didnt, speak to the lender who put the note on and try to get it removed.
If you did, there are lenders who can take a view, but if you did what you have been accused of your going to struggle. Its not something you could argue was an accident.

no I didn't , I'm in hospital and was browsing forums and came across dsar/sar request, you can request it, so I did and I saw 5/6 entries all with different email addresses.

So now you need to start the long slog of challenging the markers starting by contacting the organisation(s) that reported them

As above.
You will find it far easier (and cheaper) to get the entries removed than trying to progress with them on.
Speak to the companies who applied the notes, speak to CIFAS and follow their procedures.
