No, I can't see any argument for that. The act of (alleged) negligence and the injury occurred in Scotland.

Do you have legal expenses on your home insurance? If so they will appoint a panel solicitor to deal with the matters for you without a success fee.
I am not close to Scots Law but you may have a problem with a no win, no fee crowd if your case is under £5,000 as this means you fall into the Simple Procedure of the Sheriffs Court which limits what expenses can be claimed from the other side. They'd still get their 20% of your winnings but that may be very slim pickings for the effort they have to put in.
