Bought myself a Samsung Smart Tag 2 to play with the UWB close-range augmented reality finding thing, only to find that my new Samsung Flip did include the functionality - but only on those phones sold in Korea.

And with the case of a car you don't need to know the precise location to the nearest meter so a cheaper tracker is going to be fine.

Really? The Precise Find kicks in between 10m and 30m from the tag, depending on the version and conditions. Makes sense and is useful if you've lost your keys in your home but not so sure its necessary in finding a car

Well IMHO it is worth the extra cost -
better for finding car 😪 in car park
or if someone steals it 😨
