Partial Quote Mis-attributed Upon Quote

What I did:

Fully quoted a post that contained a partial quote

What Should happen:

The partial quote should remain formatted as a partial quote (it should look like the above screenshot, rather than the below plain text within the quote panel)

What happened:

The partial quote formatting was lost, mis-attributing the text to the person who included it as a quote

Why it matters:

It made the poster look like they had said something that they did not, and that they later went on to contradict themselves

That does look like it could be very misleading and cause problems.

So I've put the case that it should be considered a bug.

This has been confirmed to be a bug that will be addressed in a future update.
