41 years paying into CSP
I applied for partial retirement as advised 5 months before my 60 th birthday but they couldn't even get the date right . They chose the day before - I was told in October I would get another offer by e-mail within 5 working days, I am still waiting and on part time earnings only. So stressful my thoughts are with anyone in the same position xx

I was sent an email about CSP the other day - they are getting a surge team of 150 people to sort out the backlog, and HMRC are looking to manage the recovery plan.
So it will get sorted - but not soon.
I'm retiring in March and have put other things in place as I can't assume I'll get any money quickly.
Those cases around hardship and end-of-life will get priority.
