Fuse Energy Fixed Rate Tariffs 2026
Comments

There may not be much of a reduction in tariff in April because apparently Fuse does not currently have to pay some of the charges that are being removed. It will be interesting to see what happens.

ML is predicting it will still be £90 reduction (compared to the full £150) for the likes of 100 Green, Fuse, Green Energy, Home Energy & (fingers crossed) Tulo Energy because they don't charge the extra £60 today

Just a reminder this was the results of a comparison done a fortnight ago (not complete), based upon Ofgem typical TDCV (2,700 kWh electricity &
11,00011,500kWh gas) [ETA: it was based upon the NE supply region.]You can see the effect of £60 ish less discount for yourself.

Isn't the gas TDCV 11,500 kWh?

Yes, you are absolutely correct, I will double check what usage figures the above comparison was actually based upon and correct as appropriate.
Edit:
I have gone back and checked the assumed annual usage figures used 2 weeks ago and I had actually used the correct 11,500 kWh of gas. I have corrected the above post accordingly. Thank you 😊

Jan Fixed (12m) v3 - NLA
now
Feb Fixed (12m) v1... but the 13m option appears generally cheaper, due to even lower standing charges and same/similar unit rates
(maybe not much difference for E7 only)

Still some good savings over Octopus fix (and that is ignoring any drop in April from Fuse) but there is an exit fee with Fuse, more so for low users with a usefully cheaper s/c.

Many thanks for letting me know FUSE do gas only, I will look into this as I thought British Gas was the only one who allows this.
