Beverley BS RS (Issue 2)
Mine now open (applied yesterday evening) and showing in online banking alongside existing Issue 1. Funded today.
Got a COP match straightaway with Santander using the account number shown in online banking as the reference.
Banking details for Beverley hard to find:-
Sort code 62-28-90 (National Westminster)
Account no: 00000000 (8 zeros)
Reference: 10 digit account number (starts 089)
Hope this helps.

When closing my 5% Santander saver, the chat bot tells me to transfer my existing funds to another account before closing so the balance is zero. Where will my 6 months worth of interest end up?

if you have other existing savings/current accounts with Santander, Sandi will allow you to choose one of them for the interest.

Beverley Issue 2 now closed to new applications

I'm somehow quite grateful. Almost thought I might have to apply for this one.

I just managed to get in before it was pulled then.
The whole onboarding process was very smooth and very quick.
This is going to be my replacement for the rolling 6 month Principality RS, replacements for which are quite disappointing %-wise.
A big thankyou to whoever it was up-thread who pointed it out.

Well that's made the decision for me. Despite reading all the account information several times I wasn't much closer to understanding how it works in practice. I decided against Issue 1 (for similar reasons) but the increased monthly limit for this one made it slightly more interesting.

Presumably Beverley are getting sufficient applications for this account, despite the slightly finickity T&Cs. Otherwise they would have reviewed and changed things after issue 1.
Had the T&Cs been a little less awkward, and the rate been a bit higher, they might have had a mad rush for applications and ended up with a massive backlog like Buckinghamshire.
I like to support small building societies, but this one was below my threshold, and admittedly I was a bit bamboozled by the T&Cs too.
