Trading212 dd not honour the £30

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else has had issues with receiving the £30 - after signing up through Martin's promo offer link, trading212.com/join/MSE30.

I contacted their support who said that there was no record of the promo code, and that it had exceeding the period since signing up and refused it.

All the best

There was a trading212 MSE-special promo link during december, and mentioned in the weekly emails, which ended on 19th Dec, which was for MSE50 for a £50 referral [or just using the link]

Might it be that one you're thinking of?

Understand that you can only use one promo code. There was a promo code mse that increases the interest rate to 4.33%.

Did you set up a card and spend the £5 minimum? After that, you have to wait 30 days to be able to access the £30 (though it will show up in your funds sooner).

I'm currently in the waiting period and I should be able to spend the £30 from 12 Feb.

Hi all, thanks for all your replies,
I did satisfy all the aspects of the T&Cs which were quite straight forward, sign up, verify ID, set up the virtual card, spend £5 within 2 weeks. Except they did not have any record their end of the code/use of the MSE link?
I disputed this with their support, and they have since honoured the £30. Although my first taste of robo-trading, I've lost almost £50 as things are pretty volatile, and I don't really know what I'm doing. Just dipping my toes so to speak, so doubt I'll make anything life changing
