Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet.
We had a lovely sunny day yesterday when I didn't have any washing to put out! There's a load in just now that I'll hang out before I leave for work as it should be dry today again.
I seem to have been chasing my tail in the mornings going to the SM before school for work related items. Nothing needed this morning thank goodness.
The heating engineer came on Monday but as the heating decided to work there was nothing he could do but will keep the job open so if it plays up again I've to take a video and send it to him - kind of hoping it doesn't work at some time soon!
Hoping you feel better dp1.
How was your 'date' Mehefin?
Hope you've had lots of rest Gers.
Hugs to anyone in need, have a good day. Take care. XX

Morning all
It feels colder here this morning but no rain due till later this afternoon, yesterday I took O out in his wheelchair for a walk, it’s no mean feat just getting his ready to go out the door but we managed it and had an hours walk which he loved, it was quite warm at times, we saw so many people out making the most of the sunny day.
Dinner tonight will be breaded chicken chips and beans very nice and quick, I have put a wash on this morning which I hope will finish before I leave so I can hang it out.
We are looking to go away for a little break around my birthday in March we are hoping to take mum, we want to go somewhere in the uk overlooking the sea but she will need a downstairs bedroom with en-suite which is proving quite hard to find, we have found some beautiful ones but she just can’t do stairs, so the search goes on.
Gers I hope you managed some sleep xxx
Have good days all and take care xx15 -
Morning all-thanks for the start @Scarlett.
Great work getting O outside for a while @Ruby, not an easy job.
I slept better last night, my nerves are decompressing slowly whilst still wondering about the speed of events. Yesterday morning I went to catch up on a few jobs in the wee town including buying fresh veggies. Later on I ordered myself a fresh bottle of perfume, the present one was bought in 2020 and has gone off. I have promised myself that I will wear it more often and not keep it for best, I don't go out often enough for that. My favourite is Coco Chanel so succumbed to a JL price match offer.
Today my day is clear of outside chores, I'll lose myself in spreadsheets and gathering statements. I need to make it easier for the next SA time so extra columns have to be added into my designs. 😂Take care everyone, especially our poorlies. Hugs to all.

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. After yesterday's sunny, but still cold, day we are back to dismal and drizzly again today. We currently have fog too but that's going to lift. I hope all are well or at least getting better.
I plan on bringing the Friday Tidy forward a day as I might be out tomorrow. A boring day.
The eating from the freezer is almost a month in and it still looks as full as ever but I am persevering. I've just got out a jacket spud to defrost (one I made earlier!) and the last portion of my Chilli to put in it for my dinner. Nice and easy.
Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all, be safe xx

Back to fog and greyness here! Yesterday was sunny but colder. Having avoided the river for dog walking as I knew it’d be very high, I chose a walk across some fields and canals and still finished up paddling at one point. The rest of the day didn’t feel very productive.
There’s some sewing to keep me occupied today (Christmas craft items would you believe, trying to do one project a month so there’s no rush in October!). I also took advantage of yesterday’s brighter weather and have a load of photos of items to get sorted and listed - not my favourite part of online selling!Hope everyone has a good day

Good morning
Still quite dark here, but dry at the moment.
This pesky cough and sneezing won't go away, have just taken more paracetamol. It'll run it's course.
Nothing planned for today, just taking it easy, not that I've got much energy to do anything. Chicken kievs for tea, (if I want them).
Have a good day all, take care.

@RedRuby1231 Well done on getting your O out in their wheelchair. My Mum is in a care home and she is wheelchair bound, the one thing she really misses is just getting out in the fresh air, the home does try and get her out about once every 6 weeks but it isn't enough for her and I quite understand it. I am looking forward to getting my all clear in March so I can start taking her out again just for little walks in the neighbourhood.
So today is more pottering for me, my throbbing toe is still a problem, so I've made a doctor's appointment to get it checked out, I feel a bit silly about it, but as it's not long since I had surgery I feel it's worth getting it checked out. Eldest ds ( who is a gem) sent me a text at 6.30a.m saying he was walking to work today and had left his car outside our house so we can use it to get to the doctors, I don't know how I did it but I have genuinely kind offspring!!!12 -
Morning all and thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons x
It’s DS2’s birthday today but he’s working later so we had a lovely meal out last night. Up with the lark this morning as we are having a new front door fitted. Feeling a bit chilly as theres currently a hole in the front of our house! Need to call the garage later re: our car.
Sorry to hear of so many poorlies. This season’s cold virus does seem to be lingering. DH is feeling better but still coughing and sinus-y.Glad you were able to get O out and about @RedRuby1231 - I bet he loved it x
Never too early for Christmas crafting @AlwaysAllie! X
Take it easy @Gers x
Have a lovely day everyone and take care.
