That is standard commercial reporting that the accounts to end Jan 2025 need to be filed by the end Jan 2026. Accounts to end Jan 2026 will need to be filed by end Jan 2027. It gives time for the accounts to be properly prepared and reviewed before filing. It is the same as an individual submitting their 2024 - 25 tax return by end Jan 2026.

I purchased a car in early August 2025 - So 7 months ago
As you are passed the 6 months where the faults could be taken as there when you bought the car
It's after 6 months so it's up to the OP to prove the faults were there from day one
If the purchase was in early August 2025, this is still less than six months ago (just)!
