Is that like Fly Tipping or Cow Tipping?

When I look on Google finance there are a lot of gaps, 2024? Looks good but very risky.

In what way does a company that is winding down, look good?

AI
Jarvis Securities (LON:JIM) is currently a high-risk, while its extremely low P/E suggests significant value if earnings stabilize, the stock is reeling from poor performance, making it a "cautious hold"?

…aaaand this is why you should not use AI to research investments.

But 'tipranks' is even worse. It does depend on what question you ask.
"The aim of the wind-down is to return remaining cash to shareholders after liabilities, such as the FCA redress and wind-down costs, are settled.
The company is closing down its operations and returning cash to shareholders rather than continuing to operate as a broker. The share price has reflected this wind-down, experiencing significant declines in 2024 and 2025."

You seriously said something looks good just because AI told you it was? That's really a recipe for disaster.

My understanding is that when a company is winding down shareholders get what is left over after everyone else has been paid.
I haven't looked at Jarvis accounts and just went on my feeling is they will help themselves to as much as they can get away with. And there will be unexpected costs. So the shareholders will get less than expected. Perhaps I am being too cynical. But it comes from past experience of buying Marconi shares after the crash in the naive belief that shareholders would get what Marconi was really worth when it was wound up. Needless to say I got burned.

With no one commenting, the OP would get zero information. It wasn't advice to buy.
