Yodel downsizing some shops
For Yodel I used to have 4 I could use, 1 an easy walk and a couple of doors down from the Evri/RM shop, one slightly further away that was a bit of a walk, one I could easily drive to and another for emergency use- now I just have the one further away and the one I can drive to. The two others have gone. The message also says that I can post Yodel at an Inpost locker, but my local lockers still don't accept them, and they are in a car park with no night access anyway, my next local ones are often full and again I've never managed to drop a yodel parcel off.
It might be just the shops have had enough and I'd be interested if anyone else that regularly uses Yodel has had a shop leaving the scheme?

Hey there,
We wanted to give you a quick heads-up that a Yodel Store you’ve previously used will soon no longer support Yodel by InPost or InPost parcels.
The good news? You still have plenty of convenient options nearby.
Depending on the retailer you’re ordering from, you can:
- Use another nearby Yodel Store, or
- Choose a nearby InPost Locker to collect, send or return parcels any time 24/7.
If you have a parcel heading to one of the affected shops, don’t worry - you can still collect it.
You can find your nearest Yodel Store or InPost Locker in the InPost app or on our website.
Thanks for being part of the Yodel by InPost community.
See you soon,
The team @ Yodel by InPost

I can quite imagine that shops get a pittance per parcel as Yodel tries to cut prices to the bone. It is quite easy to think that shops decide that the space where parcels are stored could be more profitably used.

I only post with Royal Mail.
I use Yodel for Vinted deliveries only when I have no other option.
The Yodel shop I used to use is one of the ones that has gone but I'd voted with my feet as there always seemed to be a problem.
The one I use now - much more organised - is still available to me.

My local shop no longer takes Inpost/Yodel as of this week, the nearest is now 3 miles away, rather than a 15 minute walk.

They seem to be putting more lockers in; you will probably see one appearing outside the shop soon.
