Passive investing advice needed - but not with HL!

I'm looking to invest roughly £100 pm in index funds for the long term.
I have an ISA with some shares (AIM) with HL, but I don't want to invest in funds with them, as I'm sure I can find better elsewhere (especially after today's email).
Just interested in who others use to invest? I haven't decided which funds I'm going to invest in yet, so that's also something I need to look into. I know Vanguard used to be the talk of the town, and that they have their own accounts, but it's been a while since I last looked into it.
I've also started looking at Monevator again, but just interested in some real life experiences if you know what I mean.
Thanks

Vanguard's platform only offers a selection of its own funds so you'd need to be deciding what you'll be investing in before choosing a platform via which to do so, but once you get to that point, Monevator has a comparison page so you can easily determine the costs of each.2

If you don't want to restrict yourself to ETFs, then iWeb's migration to become Scottish Widows Share Dealing has come with the introduction of free regular investing, so you could buy and hold fee free.I have a sizable account there (which could be getting bigger following the HL news)1

Prosper is free to use and they do a few index and multi-asset funds, including Vanguard.
App only.

Vanguard offers ETFs and you can buy them via the likes of Trading212 and IG Invest. Both offer zero commission and zero account fees. Trading212 offers fractional shares so your full £100 would be invested, not, say, £90-something and change.Gin_and_Milk said:I'm looking to invest roughly £100 pm in index funds for the long term.
