Thought of another one. Spindle Tree Euonymous Europeus.

Tough as anything, grows to about 3m, colour in autumn, pink-yellow little fruit/berries. Native tree so should be insect friendly

Just bought a couple from Parkers for £1.99 each and free postage

Spindle trees seem to have a year of good fruiting, followed by a more restful year. I have two, and luckily they're out of synch, so one is always good. Seed like mad, mind. 😉
