EV cars with height-adjustable boot

Every time I try to search for this, the results are all about cars with big boots. I've seen the BYD dolphin, MG4 and Hyundai Inster do, but it's really long-winded to look at every car. Does anyone know of a good website where you can compare features like this.

What exactly do you mean by "height-adjustable boot"? I've had a look at the Inster specs and can't see anything to suggest it has any means of altering the boot height.

It means boot floor can be set at different levels.  Either low down below the boot door cill, or raised so it is level with the top of the cill.

My Qashqai e-Power has this. It’s not a full EV but drives like an EV as the petrol engine is only used to charge the battery.

The term you're after is "Range Extender", like the BMW i3, Chevrolet Volt/Opel/Vauxhall Ampera, London taxis and buses. They're becoming more common - Mazda even do one with a rotary w*nkel engine.

I don't think the Nissan e-Power is like the "Range Extender" models such as the BMW i3.

The BMW i3 is an EV which will ordinarily be charged from the mains and the ICE engine is used to, well, extend the range for longer journeys by running to charge the battery.

The Nissan e-Power is rather more like some of the mock-up images the web had has a joke with TESLA cars towing a diesel generator.

The Nissan e-Power does not, so far as I am aware, actually have a plug socket but only has the on-board petrol generator to charge the battery and the ICE cannot directly drive the wheels to provide motive power.

Someone must have had a good night at the pub before they put this idea out.

There is an article in this weeks "Autocar" bemoaning the confusing terms that the different manufactures use for the various flavours of hybrids.

I am not even sure how the Nissan e-power carries the "hybrid" term at all.
It only has one fuel source - petrol.
It only has one means of providing motive power - electric motor.
There is nothing that actually makes it a hybrid - it is never a "hybrid" of two things working in harmony.
It should really be marketed as "abomination"

Back to the OP's question, my Citroen eC4 has a false floor in the boot that can be set level with the folded seats to make the back all flat, or low down so your load doesn't all come tumbling out if you open the boot.

Can't sat that I have ever used it though, I leave it at the low position, it is only made of some light compressed fibreboard and will break if you put any weight on it in the high position.

My 2008 Nissan Note had one too, I assumed that pretty much everything that isn't Poverty Spec. has them nowadays.

Try watching some Youtube reviews of the cars you are interested in, they generally show the boot when they go round the car.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))

The Ford Puma gen-e has a massive storage box under the boot floor.  Overall, it's the biggest boot in its class.

Lots of EVs do, my VW ID3 had one as does my current Skoda Elroq. You may have to opt for something other than the base spec though.
