Principality - Move money between accounts - changed procedure

This morning I used the Principality Building Society website and clicked "Account Services - Move money between Principality accounts" as I do at least once a month, and it generated a secure message requesting that I wished to move funds from one Principality account to another, which had to be actioned by a member of staff, I then received a secure message to say it had been done later in the day. I am sure previously it just transferred the funds without any staff interaction, or secure messages being involved.

Hopefully something shut down for weekend maintenance and back to normal service by Monday.1

I was going to start feeding all my Principality Regular Savers from their easy access account next weekend. So I also hope it's a blip!flaneurs_lobster said:I feed 9 PrinBS RS's from their EA account every month, do hope this is just a blip.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1 -
Even if it is, I wouldn't risk it in case there are more blips. Don't want staff snooping around my 2 x xmas savers and my 5 x issue 4 six month regulars!surreysaver said:

in case they realise you are breaking the T&C?0 -
I’m with you, I fund from external sources and don’t need them looking at my account.Speculator said:

2 Xmass, 1 issue 3 & 4 issue 4. Plus a triple access saver.
Pays less but should convert into an issue 4 or 5 reg saver soon if available.0 -
They must have had a snoop around mine a few months ago, as they closed an account that was NLA when I opened it. And all my excess Regular Savers are still openSpeculator said:

I've noticed that manipulating the URL on the account application page no longer works as it used to. If you enter the code of an account which is NLA (e.g. 6087 for the Christmas regular saver) you are taken back to the home page.
Indicates possibly that Principality have made some tweaks to their system, which may or may not include closing the regular saver maturity loophole without the need for staff intervention.1
