Antigua Advice

I'm going to Antigua on 18th Jan but am confused on two counts and wondered whether anyone could advise please;
1. Is it best to take EC or US dollars?
2. What's the best way to take them? (card, traveller cheques, cash)

I won't be taking lots of money as it's all inclusive so I just want enough for a couple of excursions and some rum and cigars for the folks back home:cool: so will take no more than £250.

We went to Antigua a couple of years ago, and had a great time. I suggest you look at the Tripadvisor site, looking at your hotel, and also at the resort forum. It depends where you go and where you will be doing your shopping. Hope this helps. Tripadvisor is a good site, lets you know what to expect from your destination.

We took Eastern Carribean dollars in cash two years ago.
