How does this eBay prepaid label work?

Been a good few years now since I last sold on eBay. Maybe 5 years.
A relative has just sold something & is bombarding me with questions.

This didn't seem to be a thing when I last sold.
I'm guessing the answer here is - ignore it & sort your own postage.
They've sold an item which is £150. They were going through Parcel2Go to book in the parcel to be delivered & were going to pay I think about £7.50+VAT for the cover. This was just at the finding out postage cost stage.
The buyer then bought the item, relative was ready to do the booking as they previously looked in to but then they get met with this page on eBay which seems to suggest they should be clicking it.
I said I really can't see eBay covering your item for the full £150 from that link. I've no idea if they know the weight of it (7kg) at this stage or not. Parcel2Go do but I don't know if eBay does & if they don't then I can't see how they can offer a prepay on it.
So as I say, I'm guessing the answer is to ignore this, book in the item for delivery as they were going to do & update their sold item accordingly.
Just want to check in here with others who've more recent eBay experience than I before I tell them what to do.

This is the new ebay simple delivery.
They would have had to input the package size to ebay when listing the item so if you click on the link the label should be correct.
At the next page you can adjust the size of the package if required before clicking print label.
You need to get the ebay generated label as you don't have any other way of getting the buyers address.
You (or the buyer) will be charged for this label regardless so it doesn't make sense to buy another from p2g.
The item will be covered for the full £150 with the ebay label.2 -

So the seller will need a printer (they don't have one)?
Or can a QR code be generated where they can take to [somewhere] - post office / courier drop off spot & have that place print the label out?0 -

With simple delivery Ebay take the hit on lost / delayed parcels, that is what the buyer protection fee covers

You know what, I didn't even look at that part of their screenshot. I was just looking at the bottom really.
From what they're telling me, it'll need to go in to the 'oversized' category, because while it's way under 20kg, apparently it's a bit over the 61x46x46cm.
I suppose they'll find out when they click but for myself - what's the drop off locations on these simple deliveries? Are they totally post office based or are they with couriers? Since it makes a difference to availability time.0 -
You don't need a printer, you can show the qr code at a parcel shop. Originally ebay only used royal mail and evri, but they are now rolling out inpost too so where you take it will depend on which label ebay has issued.
When listing the item ebay suggests a size and weight and covers you if the item weighs more (so long as it isn't too heavy or bulky for the courier). The seller also decides whether ebay charges the buyer or the seller for the label. You can download the label to see the address and then use a different courier but what happens then depends on who paid for the label. If the buyer paid they will receive a refund, if the seller paid they have to apply for a refund (and might not get one). In any case you will need to upload new tracking info.1
