A newbie, but want to get this on the board.
As soon as the government announce this scheme, the likes of Jungle Bee are on the case. Two of my email addresses have a solar panel themed message sent to two of my emails. It is all too easy to go off thread when these messages hit your inbox - diesel claim when you don't drive let alone own a car.
Are the government websites the best place to go for specific information on the scheme, this site's good advice notwithstanding?!

Welcome to the forum.
The main MSE article shows a decent overview of what we know so far:CardiDolphin said:Are the government websites the best place to go for specific information on the scheme, this site's good advice notwithstanding?!One thing to note is that so far there have been no details of how this will work in practice, and there's a good chance that the scheme won't exist until 2027. So anyone trying to get your sign-up now is likely to be a scammer.N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec / Fuse gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile.
