Thank you, and yes I still have the socks, I have offered to return them but they said not to bother.  Thank you for helping and researching everyone, and no I didn't realise they weren't a Dutch firm...my fault for not researching properly.
I did contact them immediately I received the socks re the charging issues, emails pinged back and forth from that time until 28 December when I was offered a refund
They may have changed the website since I bought the socks , I did screen print the page and pointed out that they had not mentioned the need for the power bank they sold to charge the socks.

I have emailed them again today but not heard back as yet, although don't hold out much hope as they haven't replied to my last two e mails

You can contact your bank about a chargeback with evidence that you have been told not to bother returning them.

The address on the website is a residential property.  The VAT number links several websites selling all sorts of products. Each website has a different UK mobile number.

Why not just buy a power bank from Amazon? I’m sure they’ll sell a compatible product for a lot less than 50 quid.

I don’t even see what the company has done wrong. If you scroll down on the product page, there are FAQ’s which state the power bank isn’t included.
