Parking Charge - Britannia parking

Morning all,
I received a parking charge notice to keeper from BP after my car was recorded entering and leaving a pub carpark one evening in December. I would add (if it matters) it was dark, I'm not familiar with the pub, I didn't see any obvious parking signage (other than a well lit sign to show a no parking area near the door), and I did not enter the pub as we were there to collect someone. I visited the venue and tried step 1 but the manager there had no interest in helping.
I have gone through the newbies post and have submitted an online appeal but can't work out what the next steps are based on the response I've received. I would really appreciate it someone point me the right way for the next step please?
Please let me know if more information required. Cheers

Have you read through the newbies threads on this forum? Also for anyone to give a meaningful response you need to provide a copy of the letter you have received masking out any identifiable information such as name/address/reg number/reference nos etc0
