Can anyone remmeber the name of the free website that shows you land registry boundaries. It doesn't give you any of the owner information but shows the polygon outlines of the individual boundaries. It does a lot of other stuff, greenbelt, flood maps and everything but i need it to check a LR boundary.
I think it was callen open-map or something similar?

Yeah, you’re thinking of OpenMap-Local, that’s the free tool that shows boundaries, flood zones, greenbelt etc. Useful for quick land checks.0

That one says it requires a download, I’m sure the one I used previously was accessible online and I don’t think it was Ordnance Survey0

You can do a map search on the Land Registry site ?

Just be warned that this is absolutely NOT the Land Registry site!p00hsticks said:You can do a map search on the Land Registry site ?

https://www.landregistry-uk.com/map-search - this one does show accurate shape of the boundaries, althout it's not aligned very accurately against the aerial view map
https://www.planning.data.gov.uk/map/?dataset=title-boundary - map is more clear, but boundaries are often less accurate.1 -

Who cares - unless you order something that isn't free? And the second one IS 'official' (not sure about Land Registry), although less accurate.jimbog said:

Combine two - and you'll get a very good idea of the actual LR boundaries.0 -
Thanks everyone the site I found wasn’t a real Land Registry site either but showed basic outlines. I don’t you can rely on them legally.Managed to get there in the end though the site logo and colours have changed since hence not being able to find it, it was https://www.onemap.org.uk if anyone else has lost it1

It's important to mention because a lot of the "look-alike" sites are designed to get people to pay a lot of money for things they could get free, or at a far lower cost from the Land Reg itself - and they are doing this by appearing to be the official site.grumpy_codger said:
