Faulty Acer PC

I bought a Acer desktop gaming PC from Currys in April 2024. At the time of purchase Currys advised me I didn't need a Care & Repair Plan until the manufacturer warranty had expired. Therefore, in March 2025 I contacted Currys and asked for a plan for the PC. They told me they do not provide a Care & Repair Plan for the model of PC I had, and that I should contact Acer directly. I did this and took out an extended warranty with Acer directly.
In May 2025 the PC Completely crashed with a blue screen. It was sent off to Acer who took a month to fix it, as it needed three parts replacing which were - Flash Disk MICRON SSD NAND 1024GB Micron M.2 2880, Mainboard PO7-4650 Intel Z790 N KILLER LAN E3100G A and CPU Intel Core i9 13900KF LGA 3.0 GHz 32M 3200 170.
Yesterday (18th January 2026) the computer has crashed again with the same problem. Today I have contacted Currys and I was passed through to 5 different people, the last person I spoke to, said it is nothing to do with Currys and I won't get anywhere with a complaint. (I have sent one anyway).
I have also contacted Acer who are arranging for the PC to be repaired again.
Am I entitled to a replacement PC, as it has crashed again, or do I have to wait for it to be repaired?
Also who is liable Currys or Acer?
Thanks

There are two separate potential forms of protection - you have statutory consumer rights with the retailer, or warranty cover from the manufacturer.
Unless you exercised the former during the first failure last year, then it's unlikely that you can do so now, so your rights will be dictated by the terms of the Acer warranty agreement you signed up to, rather than Currys having any residual liability.
Also perhaps worth noting that another blue screen crash doesn't necessarily indicate the same underlying problem as before, it just happens to manifest itself in the same way.2
