Open SIPP and ISA and invest in a multi-asset fund like the VLSxx series. Read about asset allocation and choose a VLSxx fund that is right for your circumstances. Then think about your future income strategies for drawdown.
And so we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.

Thankyou all. Yes decided to just get on with it myself ! Opened a SIPP last night and will look into investment for some and better ISAS etc to distribute better for future income. I didn’t feel comfortable at all about the wealth management thing immediately but you just feel you should double check incase I was well off the mark in what to expect.

You can transfer cash ISA's to stocks and shares ISAs if you wish to reduce the amount of cash you hold. You do it by choosing and opening your S&S ISA, and getting the new platform to transfer in the cash ISA account (or possibly part of it). Just like transferring from one Cash ISA to another.
That way you don't lose the tax-free status of what is already there.

Just remember that from 2027, you won't be able to transfer from a S&S ISA to a cash ISA, unless and until you have reached the age of 65.
