Mortice lock is stuck in door

I have some hollow core doors which need new mortice locks as the keys have been lost. It's been easy enough to swap similar doors in the past but I've found that these appear to be stuck, if not glued in.  Tried pulling on one and the door started to separate. Just thought I'd post here in case anyone had any insights on the best next steps?

I can't imagine it's glued in. If you had a key I'd suggest getting the bolt to stick out and then grabbing it with a Mole wrench but if you can't do that then all you can do it put a screwdriver into the keyhole on each side then pull towards the edge of the door. Of maybe lever the lock from the edge of the door by hammering a large screwdriver in at top and bottom alternately.

Is it possible there's still a screw somewhere holding the lock in place? If you were able to post a photo then someone more familiar with the type of door and lock might have some tips....

It was just the front edges that were stuck. I managed to loosen it with some IPA and a craft knife.
