Agreed, the ryzen 5 is plenty unless you're planning on some hardcover gaming or graphical design. I tried looking at them face to face bur my local currys didn't have them.
I just want the best for my money. Scared that if I get the base one with ram upgrade that it might crash .

If money is no object, go for the ryzen 7, but you're unlikely to be using the extra processing power and the ryzen 5 will perform just as well for the vast majority of tasks. Spend the extra cash on some good headphones, a bag, a mouse etc.1 -
I deaf and wear cochlear implant so sound will go striaghr to that through Bluetooth. Getting a rucksack style bag from dsa too. Already ha e mouse and keyboard fron old laptop.Woodstok2000 said:
