Could someone tell me how to hide a url link behind another word in an e mail please?

You can only do this if you are creating an HTML email, and then you need to edit the source to do it manually by adding a hef tag, for example:
normal non underlined text <a href="the_http_web_link_here">The text in your email which you want as an underlined link here</a> normal non underlined text0 -
If you use Thunderbird this is easy, when you chose insert, and then paste the link, another box is available.
You then type whatever word you want to see in the email.Move along, nothing to see.0 -

I just copy and paste, then highlight the pasted link and type in look or peek, or whatever word used to describe link, can also change font colour, make bold underline, seems to work for me.0 -
