Plumbing - What is this part called?

Hi.  This part clips on & off the Torbeck side valve in our toilet cistern.

It's now damaged.  Any idea what it is called and if I can buy it separately so I can remove and clip a new one into place.

The rest of the valve is fine so I'd rather not have to replace the whole thing.

Many thanks

It directs the water flow from the Torbeck valve downwards into the cistern, and the plastic sleeve reduces noise.
Is it the wee securing clip wot's broken? If so, reposition it, and wrap some wire - ideally SS or copper - around it and the valve body to hold it in place. String will do the job too.
If the plastic sleeve is torn, then it won't affect how it works, but only make it a bit more noisy. You can try aiming the outlet so the water flow hits the side of the valve body on the way down so it disrupts the flow directly into the cistern, and that will quieten it a bit.
It should be pretty easy to make up a new sleeve if wished, tho' gluing the polythene into a narrow sleeve will be the trickiest part I guess - it's a 'waxy' plastic that doesn't adhere well.
Or, find and use a suitably-sized poly bag - ie as small as possible, whilst being long enough - and make a small hole in its middle-bottom, enough for the plastic nozzle to fit through. Then wrap a wire or thread around the hole, catching the plastic bag, and fitting in the nozzle's groove to secure it in place. Let the bag drape down into the cistern - that should work too.

Or oversleeve the tubing with a bakers icing bag trimmed to suit.
Play with the expectation of winning not the fear of failure.    S.Clarke

This is the part that has broken. There's a small crack in the plastic and the square rubber like flap has come off.  So when you flush and the cistern starts filling up, it is shooting water upwards in the cistern and that's coming out of the cistern unfortunately.

The actual plastic tube is absolutely fine and so is the securing clip.

Ah. Ok, does that part detach from the valve? (No idea if it does).
If it does, then you have the option of a repair, but bear in mind the type of plastic used is very 'waxy', so most adhesives will struggle to adhere to it.
    What's the 'square rubber-like flap'?
Anyhoo, your options would appear to be to attempt a repair, or to replace the whole valve with an identical model. The choice will come down to your skills - plumbing or fixing!
For instance, a crack in the plastic body might well be fixable by gently using a soldering iron to re-weld the crack, melting into it to a fair depth, and flowing the formed melted plastic over the crack to seal it all. Or, by very roughly abrading the crack and surrounding surface, and using summat like StixAll as a sealant.

I can’ttell if it’s exactly the same but Toolstation sell the complete valve for £7.63.

Just unclip the filler and swap.  I’d be surprised if you can get that bit on its own.

I did post a detailed reply yesterday but for some reason I can't see it!  I'll try again.

This is the silicone flap (see above) which presumably lifts a little when water fills the cistern.  The crack was in this plastic surrounding it.

In the image below I've pointed out what this looks like on a new side valve.  Mine is slightly different

That little square flap has detached from the clip on attachment but I'm guessing it's not possible to buy that part  (See below) on its own.  It only comes as part of a complete side valve pack

    Ah!
That - unless I am mistaken - is a fixed part, is not a flap, is hard plastic like the rest of the part, is moulded as one piece, and must have broken off.
Ok, what glues do you have in t'house? And, do you have any copper cable you can strip to obtain a foot or so of copper wire?
If so, dry that part 100%, add whatever glue you have available to the 'flap' - superglue, 'bostic', epoxy, even a sealant like silicone, frame, etc - and press it firmly and accurately into place. Hold it if needed - tape it? - until the glue has set. Then firmly wrap the copper wire around it as shown, and twist together. Jobbie most likely jobbed.
Good chance insulating tape or amalgamating tape will do the job equally, amalg being better as it is designed for sealing and is waterproof.

Thanks!  I'll have a rummage around and see what I have but I'm now thinking I'll just get a new valve a take the part from there, and hope it's like for like

    Thanks for all your replies.

I bought the entire valve and just took the little plastic clip on part and popped that into place.  Job done
