I don't see much mention of GB Bank, is it good? Bonds, Easy access?
I'm very new to savings.

"Good" in the sense of offering market leading rates, not currently.Supatramp said:I don't see much mention of GB Bank, is it good? Bonds, Easy access?I'm very new to savings.

"Good" in the sense of having nothing to do with GB News? Yes.7

Maybe it means either they only have a small customer base, or there are no complaints about them.Supatramp said:I don't see much mention of GB Bank, is it good? Bonds, Easy access?I'm very new to savings.0 -
I used it briefly in March-April 2025 for Easy Access when they offered a good rate.Supatramp said:I don't see much mention of GB Bank, is it good? Bonds, Easy access?I'm very new to savings.
It's easy to open and operate. The app worked fine. Deposits arrive immediately (including weekends), but withdrawals are not instant. If your withdrawal is authorised before 1pm, it will be processed and received by your bank on the same day (assuming it is a working day). If your withdrawal is authorised after the cut-off time, it will be received by your bank the following working day. My early morning withdrawals arrived at around 3-4pm. Also the transactions are via nominated account only.3 -
I too used it for east access around then - again, no problems, subject to their timetable. I also have a 2 year bond I opened with them in October 2024, via Raisin, when they had a good rate. Again, no problems, but there's not much that happens with a bond.allegro120 said:
