    But what about a counterclaim?

I’d need to do a bit of digging on the counterclaim first, What do you suggest?

Hey guys, I have had a look around the forum but cannot find any proper guidance on dealing with counterclaims. Is there a sticky post I might have missed?

    Regards!

No, so you would have to search for examples,  same as everyone else including those replying to you like me

The forum is a wealth of advice and resource if you study it , but you won't get legal advice here,  just general advice and pointers to various sources

You know what keywords to search for because I already told you the basis of counterclaim and which law was broken.

Counterclaiming is HARDER, costs a fee and it and forces cases to a hearing, where you will be expected to present your legal basis for claiming £300 (or whatever.).

It's not for the faint-hearted or an unconfident Defendant but with research it can be done by copying and adapting one that worked. There is no sticky thread about it but there are several examples that won.

Hi guys, quick one. I was on here a couple of years ago and remember the defence template was a fair bit longer back then. Has it changed now? I also remember being told to email the defence rather than use MCOL, but I am seeing posts saying MCOL these days. Has the process changed, I’ve done the AOS and am about to send my defence.

    many thanks
