Are EVRI commiting Fraud ?

ordered an item from Joe Browns, heart sank when I saw they sent it with EVRI
Never delivered or attemped, returned to Joe Browns.
Summary of my Chat with EVRI..
- Went to wrong courier ( I assume they mean delivery person )
- They marked as a customer return and sent back to Joe Browns
If it's a "customer return", I assume Joe Browns will still have to pay EVRI for the delivery, when in fact I never saw it, so it's EVRI's failure, so in my books they shouldn't get paid.
By marking the parcel as customer return and getting paid , are EVRI commiting fraud against Joe Browns ?

No, they are just inept.5

It would be a pretty poor attempt at fraud as it must cost them even more to return the item to the sender?
I suppose the seller might just send it a 2nd time so they would end up with 2 lots of postage fees from it as they'll never actually refund the original payment..0 -
Evri are certainly not my worst courier either - although my latest INR (via simple delivery thank goodness) is an Evri who are adding to the tracking that they cannot deliver as no one is available at address- even though my buyer works from home and whose home office overlooks the front door!Pollycat said:
I may be in the minority (or even unique) but I've never had a problem with EVRI (or Hermes before) either with delivery to my home or to my local post office.la531983 said:No, they are just inept.
Maybe it just depends on the actual delivery driver.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
