Morning all, just lost my post in the ether somewhere grr. Operator error I'm afraid.
Today the sun is out and joy of joys we're off on the dreaded journey down the M4 for an appointment at the Velindre cancer centre. Nothing else will be happening today so I'll love you and leave you.
I hope the poorly ones get better asap and I'll send hugs to all. Have a good day if you can.
nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently9 -
Morning allJust back from shopping. Saw online that there would be 2 temporary traffic lights on my route so left early as I usually catch everyone going to work/school too. Guess what, yup, neither were there so sat outside supermarket for 15/20 minutes for it to open. Thank goodness I had a book on my phone to carry on reading.Hugs to all the poorlies and hope you all have a good day xx8

Good afternoon everyone
Thank you for the start Gers, glad to hear the scan went alright and to hear Lionel is more comfortable.
A late one from me as I've been to the hairdressers and done a little shopping on the way home
It's lovely blue sky here but like YorksLass we also had a very red sunset followed by fog but thankfully it had cleared by morning.
Thank you all for your words of encouragement re the holiday I am going to try and park it at the back of my mind for a little while because it's 12 months away and anything can happen.
I too have a cough that won't go away, it's been with me since boxing day and comes and goes.
I seem to have pressed something on my tablet keyboard that makes full stops appear where not wanted. I have tried to delete them but apologies if any are missed. I am on the hunt to resolve the problem.
As always thoughts are with the sad, lonely or poorlies.
Take care x9 -
Good afternoon, a later one from me, no reason why.
Dry and quite mild today. Yesterday rain started around lunchtime, so I didn't bother going out with DH to the very interesting (?) diy store. I did however ask him to pick up some bread and a tin of baked beans, from the supermarket next door. He came home with 4 tins of beans, his reckoning, it's not worth getting just one, there's more there if we want them. As I can't remember the last time we had beans, they'll probably stay in the cupboard for a while. Now I know where the over-stocking comes from.
Anyway, tonight is egg, bacon and beans for him and jacket potato and beans for me.
TA, I think your wm and my fridge have been plotting together, although it's working OK since OH "serviced" it. Hope your wm keeps going.
Enough waffling from me, have a good day all. Take care.9 -
Had a busy day so far, not used it it!@Redcross - just before Christmas I had a wee 'dizzy' spell and booked myself an eight day stay in Toronto - no idea why, just felt like it at the time. Like you, it's out of character and I'm slightly nervous though mostly excited.
May hay and all that. 9
