RAC breakdown cover - cheaper for Toyota cars

Last week, went throught the process of deciding which breakdown company to renew with. I decided to cancel my RAC membership due to alternative cheaper quotes. On doing this, the nice RAC man, first almost matched my alternative offer, and then suggested I phoned Club Toyota as he said they have good RAC deals. I phoned them and they beat the RAC offer (even though it was still with RAC) saying that RAC give them good deals as Toyota's don't break down that much.

Therefore, I've now re-joined Club Toyota, got a years RAC membership for half my orginal renewal quote. Thank you Mr RAC man!

Quite often dealer backed schemes are good deals.. My partner got 2 years cover for her VW for a fraction of the price of the same cover with the RAC even though its the same people doing it!
