You're right, I must have mixed them up with one of the other retailers in Ashley's empire. I did find this on the Debenhams Group entry on Wikipedia, so at that point I think Ashley must have had a stake but not one that enabled any significant influence on the business.

"In December 2024, Boohoo shareholders blocked Mike Ashley and an associate from joining its board in a blow to his attempt to control the business"

Probably house of frasers which he does own and was the trigger for renaming his empire

I dont shop at Debs, I dont use Klarma so can't say exactly what the screen flows are but would be exceptionally surprised if you didnt agree to the order etc. I've dealt with a vast number of similar complaints in the past with people saying they never were displayed a screen or such but have been able to check server logs and can see down to the millisecond what time the page was sent to them and at what time we recieved pack the notification that they had hit the "I agree" button. Often it was seconds later and given there were circa 20 bullet points on the screen that they had to agree to they clearly hadn't actually read them all (if any) but that ultimately is their fault for not reading and it doesnt make them any less binding.

I've never used Klarna, but when shopping on line, and paying by Paypal, the default delivery address is picked up from my Paypal account. However, a screen towards the end of the process gives an 'edit' option.

Are you sure that isn't also the case with Klarna?
