Most providers will have fund fact sheets which show a risk level and historical performance. Equities carry higher risk and return higher reward, if the markets are doing well. If you spend too much time over thinking it you'll have FOMO.Beagle77 said:Yeah i could have worded it better. I just don't think it's invested in the best funds at the moment.
It also depends on other provisions and your personal situation. I'm closer to retirement but my DC isn't my main source of future income. Even then I hold some equities and some cash, so I can draw down if the equities drop and I want to hold out. My priority is to avoid the tax paying in and not chasing ambitious growth anymore.
For general top line understanding and guidance, it is good area to plug into an AI tool and it will give you options with the pros and cons. Ultimately there is no perfect answer but you doing the right thing in trying to increase your understanding.
