Checking for ccjs

I want to check whether someone has ccs against their name. I know I have to pay for this. However, it is asking me for an address. Before I pay my fee, does anyone know whether the fee covers multiple addresses of the person, or do you have to pay another fee for each address you want to search?

I do not know for sure but would imagine that it is one fee per address as it is used to help identify the specific individual. There will be many John Smiths in the UK - it is the address that leads to a specific John Smith therefore each address is a different search.1

Is it a natural person or an incorporated entity?Bowey123 said:I want to check whether someone has ccs against their name. I know I have to pay for this. However, it is asking me for an address. The later is the easiest, you should use the registered address as per Companies House and the CRAs are good at consolidating. The complexity is where you are talking about group of companies where each is its own entity and therefore will have its own CCJs
The problem with natural persons is that we dont have a universal ID that can be used to ensure you are looking at the right person. The CRAs use fuzzy logic to try and work out if they get a record for Andy Smith if thats the same or different person to the ones they already have for Andrew Smith. If you work directly with the CRAs they often give a confidence factor of if they are one and the same person.
Dont know as well how TrustOnline works, their charge is however per name/address combination so if you have 5 addresses and want to check all of them then that would be 5 fees. If you are happy to limit it to England/Wales and just the county court its £6 or £8 to include the High Court (who also issues CCJ despite the name mismatch)
Note that you won't see who the money is owed to, won't see if it's been part paid and won't see why it was owed. Simply tells you the date, reference, court, amount and if it's satisfied or not. As we know on other parts of this forum a search on these tools can show up a range of parking ticket CCJs that the person themselves are totally unaware of.1 -
It is an individual. Appreciate the John smith comparison. But this individual has a very unusual name. I don’t think there would be more than a dozen people with the same surname. So first and surname likely to be only him. Would that make it easier?0

Per your posting history you were the one that obtained the CCJ against the individual so why are you checking if they have one when you know they do and what address you served it on?
I don't think that if you search on a different address to that which the court had at the time this will show - how would the register know of later addresses for example. The CCJ should still show on their credit file but you have no way to check this.

I want to know if there are any other ccs other than mine.0

I think they have also other ccjs at this address and want to know what others.0

And as people were asking on your previous post, why? You have a CCJ and their new address (apparently) so why aren't you trying to enforce your CCJ at the new address.
What difference does it make if he does have other CCJ's at other addresses but if you want to pay per address as seems the case......0
