You said your car's V5 shows your friend's previous address but whose name is on the V5? Is it your name or your friend's name?3

Mediation is different and will deal with a third party. A judge won't.Jackie5mith said:Thank you for your comment but he has never received a PCN previously nor received any correspondence prior to the Court papers. He was annoyed to receive this and I volunteered to deal with it as I was the driver. No evidence has been submitted. Mediator dealt with me in this matter.
Currently, he hasn't filed a defence. That needs putting right urgently. Could be done now. I would because a filed defence stops a default CCJ. If the Claimants get the void defence struck out he will be immediately exposed to the risk of a CCJ, so he could email a signed PDF defence to the CNBC now, like a placeholder.
They'll reject it but filed is filed and it beats any default CCJ. And he will need a defence later anyway because - trust us - it's too late to put this in your name.
How does he think they got his name? Someone put this in his name, unless the V5C named him as the keeper.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
