The valley of death - seek advice on 0% spending cards stoozing, offers drying up, what to do next?

I'm not very experienced at this, but I find that the more cards I have the lower the credit limit I can get on new cards, and also the less likely I am to get 100% eligibility guarantee for new cards on the eligibility checkers like the MSE one. You could just try applying for both at exactly the same time and see what happens - I've not tried this yet, I thought I might try it next time I need a card (the coming month).
Cheers :)

After applying for Tesco and Virgin BTCC`s without success I thought that I was going to have to pay off the £8k of debt on my 0% Lloyds CC. I already knew you can`t get a balance transfer CC with the same bank ie Lloyds, but had success in applying for a Halifax BTCC with the same 34 month 0% BT with a 3% fee as the Lloyds BTCC. Though they are in the same banking group they allow this. Now all we need is highish RS interest rates for 34 months!

If you haven't already, you can get £4k at least in the Edge Saver linked to a Santander Edge account (don't activate the fee), they closed the option to have 2 apparently. Chase have a 4.5% 1 year boosted saver as well for new users + £50 if you use a referral code
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

This is the first time I have used a fee paying 0% BTCC. Stoozing for 34 months at 0% paying a minimum 2.5% DD every month after paying the BT fee of 3%. A rough calculation of paying a little over 1% for 34 months BT money albeit with a highish 2.5% minimum DD reducing my stoozing pot and a fee of 3%, I should be able make a bit out of it. Nasqueron - my OH and I have 4 Edge Savers @6% between us (hopefully they don`t withdraw that option) with a balance of £16K. We have numerous RS`s probably averaging near 6%.

The old accounts aren't being closed, they are just blocking you from opening 2 sole ones (you can now open a sole, Edge Explorer and joint + 3 savers)
