Best - reliable commensurate with cost - place to get a spare remote key made?

Hi.
Newly-bought 2023 i10 comes with one key. It may be that Hyundai only provides a 'manual' key as the spare to the flip-bladed remote, but I'd like to have a spare remote jobbie made chust in case.
Q - where is the best - cost+reliability - place to get one?
Ta.

I have literally never even thought how much a replacement key for my motor might be so I've just looked it up.

F-me, that's expensive. Even a manual jobbie is 90 notes!

Having worked for a main dealer for many years- not hyundai-i do know remote keys are extremely expensive. we used to charge somewhere around £200 on average for the remote. which had to be paid for up front-non refundable. then once we have the remote it has to be coded to your car otherwise it wont work. for this we charged around another £100. you can get these remotes from other sources, but if you do you will probably find your hyundai dealer will not code it, as they will only code keys that have been ordered through them.

And given the cost and quality of their ordinary keys, I doubt they're going to be good value for car keys. I would be looking at independent locksmiths first.

Last year my  replacement key cost £500.

It need to be programmed to the car and nobody could do that but an authorised dealer.

Something special or a more modest motor?
