Private fine after parking at the gym

Whenever I drive to the gym, I park at the same car park each time. It's not directly attached to the gym and anyone can use the car park and pay for their parking online. They have a partnership with the gym I use and you put in your registration on a tablet at the gym which allows you 90 minutes free parking.
I received a fine from the car park recently for one of my visits. I am very sure I keyed in my registration on the tablet, however they still have upheld the fine.
It's a £60 fine.
What would be the best thing to do next?

OP Here: They said they will not deal with the matter anymore, and to appeal with IAS0

Have you complained to the gym? Looks like there is more of a story here, have you appealed to the car park management?2

You don't have any fine.
Which PPC?
You have appealed already?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I spoke to the gym and they said that I have to contact the people who run the car park directly. I have already appealed with them once I received a letter with the PCN.0

You don't have a fine and will not be wasting time on the farce of the non-impartial IAS.
You seem to have missed reading the MSE Guide to private parking tickets (link, top of page) and/or the NEWBIES FAQs thread. See my signature.

I would've escalated it with the gym management; them saying their "parking partner" is "not our problem" is unacceptable.1

Yes, email head office saying that they either cancel their charge or you will not be renewing your membership. You don't want to deal with an organisation that holds a £60 Sword of Damacles above your head every time you make use of the facilities you are paying for. What next? A fine if you spend more than 5 minutes in their showers?1
