Get them to put this in writing, and take it to the retail arm of the business, from whom you bought it.daxx2009 said:yeah i have done all i can and it dont work, i even call the samsung local service center, and explain the issue, they said its a manafactuer defect, they cant fix it, so needs a screen replacement, cost £1100 inc fitting0 -
so i have an update from samsung ceo dept,
Thank you for your quick reply and I apologise again for the issues you have faced with your TV.
Please note that there are no known defects with this model, nevertheless, I can understand your frustrations given the issues you have experienced.
Whilst our records show that warranty support has since expired, we would like to offer additional support.
I would like to raise a request with our Authorised Service Centre to inspect and repair any genuine manufacturing defects that may be present free of charge for you. We will also monitor the progression of this repair whilst this is in progress to support you throughout this journey.
If you would like to proceed, please advise and I can make the necessary arrangements.
issue i have is im not sure i want a tv that going to have 2 panel replacements within 18 months, i would rather have a replacement or a refund of some sort.
im have not refused the repair, but i have strongly put my case why im reluctaint to have a 2nd repair and ask what other options are able to be offerd.
so lets see what they come back with
least got a posotive replay for once
