People on market not willing to sell in Scotland?

Anybody else had this? Last year my purchase fell through as they changed on moving with a week to completion? Anyway reset try again 2026 I mailed about a house they said let me check viewings as it’s just after new year. Sent home report over a week later no communication? It’s a new build been on market clearly agent not doing there job or they are in no rush to sell or maybe don’t want to sell. In past had more luck with houses already sitting empty seems if it’s occupied it’s more complicated?

have you tried ringing agent? I sometimes wonder if the seller is aware that some agents just don't seem bothered but then if it were me I would be getting someone I know to check the agent was on it - just keep hassling

Yes usually I would but as the house is not by first choice I was just wanting to have a look I decided not to chase but it’s been on market a year so who knows how many other emails they ignored?

Your thread title is a little bit misleading given you are talking about the grand total of two houses.

Where in Scotland is the house?

The north east has been snowed in since New Year.
