Company Shares - Computershare - Bed and ISA

Has anyone had their employer grant them company shares (gradual vesting) with the shares held with Computershare, and then been able to Bed and ISA these shares (presumably involving a transfer to a broker like AJ Bell since Computershare don't do ISAs)? Just trying to understand the steps involved. Thanks

If the shares are obtained via a qualifying scheme then they can be transferred directly into an ISA:

If not, then you'd need to transfer the shares to a provider like AJ Bell before doing Bed & ISA, or alternatively you could simply sell at Computershare, move the cash proceeds to an ISA with AJ Bell (or whoever) and buy into some investments from there.

It's for a relative and definitely past 90 days since the award of 2 lots of shares/options, just trying to get more details as apparently there's a vesting schedule and so more shares are expected to be vested in the next couple of years... either way looks like selling at computershare and re-investing the cash into a S&S ISA (most likely a fund rather than the company's shares) will be the way forward...

That's probably the simplest option, and perhaps the quickest too, but you'd need to validate if it's the cheapest, depending on which of those is most important to your relative.
