Is this an RTS meter?

Hi all,

Ive just read an article saying that RTS meters will stop working. Can I check - is this an RTS meter? Im 99% sure it isnt, but thought Id better check.

(Theres no gas coming into the property, only electric.)

Old versions of that mode could be RTS but yours isnt and has an internal clock

The Ampy 5246C has a 20-year certified life.

Yours was manufactured in 2009 so it's good until 2029.

You might want to get it replaced sooner (most people can save money with a smart tariff) but you've got a bit of time yet.

No it’s not. It certification will expire in 2029 so will need  changing out in the next 3 years.

Assuming you have storage heaters, you should consider getting it changed for a smart meter now so that you can take advantage of smart tariffs such as Octopus Snug.
